Hundreds of tourists to Indian forests have been observed to die of the dreaded forest malaria due to P.falciparum which is multi-drug resistant and highly virulent in terms of speed of organ involvement. Over the past few years, the malaria specialist physicians and scientists engaged with CENTROMAP, have developed a novel package (the CENTROKIT) which any tourist can carry without compromising with the pleasure of traveling to Indian forests and hills, to avoid getting infected with the killer bug.
